Last night at WeWork Old Street in London, NewFinance brought together Fintech entrepreneurs from all areas of Fintech to pitch for funding from Investors to grow their startups.
Our Journalist, Anaïs Borri was on hand to present iFinance and launch the magazine in London to the Fintech Community. iFinance’s London office is based in Old Street, the heart of the Fintech in London. From here we are able to connect to new and emerging Fintech companies, startups, innovators and investors active in the industry. Old Street is the heart of financial disruption and innovation in both Tech and Fintech and we are excited to be part of this community.

The Pitch Night was a new pilot event run by NewFinance Founder and CEO Eddie George. The event brought together entrepreneurs and investors to help them connect and find new funding. Startups had a 3 minutes to present a ‘lighting pitch’ of their innovation and businesses. It provides startups the opportunity to access investors both in the audience and via video to potential new investors.
There were many startups to pitch ideas from FutureStartTech, StyloPay, The Oak, Unique Secure,Orca Money and many others.
NewFinance is a global network of over 9,000 professionals active in Financial Innovation through Technology. The membership is made up of entrepreneurs, technologists, investors, service providers, academics, students, governments and other parties interested in Fintech. The network exits to support the new emerging industry and innovation in the sector by running a range of events and providing programmes and strategies for new and established companies.
