Gli esperti di Pwc si sono focalizzati sulle operazioni di M&A avvenuti nel 2018 nei vari settori (Automotive, Chemicals & Materials, Construction, Industrial Automation & Electronics, Industrial Manufacturing, Industrial Services, Transportation & Logistics). Ecco i risultati in breve:
- 370 i deal registrati nel segmento Industrial Manufacturing & Automotive nel 2018, leggermente in calo rispetto ai 434 del 2017. Il segmento rimane comunque il più attivo in Italia.
- 2018 è l’anno degli investitori strategici presenti in 280 deal (76% del totale) in calo rispetto al 2017 (presenti in 350 deal).
- Automotive: con 33 deal, il settore si mantiene stabile (34 nel 2017) confermata l’attrattività del Made in Italy per gli investitori stranieri.
- Construction: deal in aumento, 35 vs i 28 del 2017.
- Industrial Automation & Electronics: con 35 deal, il settore registra gli stessi numeri del 2017. Protagonisti gli investitori finanziari in 22 deal su 29.
- Transportation & Logistics: deal in calo, 20 vs i 35 del 2017.
- Industrial Services: deal in calo, 41 vs i 65 del 2017.
- Industrial Manufacturing: deal in calo, 169 vs i 197 del 2017.
- Chemicals & Materials: deal in calo 37 vs i 40 del 2017.
